I am facing the same situation as you OP with Borgata, and it's much worse because I'm table games/poker room only, I almost never play slots.
It's absolutely ridiculous why Borgata is so stingy with rooms when they are pretty much the only casino in AC actually earning something. I find it incredibly surprising how I can get comped weekend rooms next door (most of the time) at Harrahs Resort while it's almost hard to get one room on Thursdays and onwards at the B comped.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to see what the deal with my host is before I let my Black Label lapse. I am definitely on the same boat you are OP.
there is a higher level "titanium" which is $10,000 comp dollars--do you know what your annual comp dollar totals run? Based on your play you might be at titanium level which may help in getting better rewards.
[PS: In the high limit slot area (near the "living room" entrance to the hotel) there is a host desk, speak to one of them to see why they are being so stingy with you.]
Doesn't a host have to invite you to be Titanium? I believe one cannot just ask for it. I could be wrong.
