IIRC, SQ 237 used to leave SIN at around 23:40 (ie arriving at around 09:00 outside of daylight savings), and SQ 238 left MEL slightly later than 10:00 giving a turn around of just over an hour. At that point the two flights were paired and operated by the same aircraft (apart from a period when 744's operated both 227 and 237, and then 227 turned around to 238 ..... OMG I have been travelling on this route for way too long).
