The W Union Square is always full and its rate is consistently sky high, and its Platinum recognition is indifferent at best.

But its location cannot be beat, and that is why it's always full, its rates are high and its Plat recognition is anemic.

If you set your expectation low, you will be fine.

If you want suite upgrade or lounge access, go stay at other Starwood properties in Manhattan, just that they are not W
