Ugh.

I stayed there last night. Not impressed, at all.

Indifferent front doorman text messaging instead of opening doors for guests. No (apparent) upgrade for my Plat status, I get a room next to the elevator, complete with an 8-inch long rust stain in the bathtub. A talk with the front desk this morning about the lousy room and no upgrade reveals that they gave me an "upgrade", they just forgot to tell me it was an upgrade. I guess the $9 bottle of water and the no coffee packets in the room is their way of telling me how special I am. Oh, she did apologize for the rust stain in the tub, and told me that part of my "upgrade" was that I got 500 Platinum amenity points. No kidding, Sherlock, I get that for every stay.
