How do I find a good flight (we are not particular about where we go so long as there is a cheap hotel near a nice beach)? How do I book a flight on a different airline using points? I would like to spend as little actual $ as possible on the flights.

Any guidance would be very appreciated. Apologies for being such a n00b.
