Anyone notice that the 800 phone number doesn't always identify the caller?
Hi All,
Recently I've noticed that when I call the United 1k number from my cell phone (which is the main number on my account), I only have about a 50/50 chance of it identifying who I am via Caller ID.
Before it would always say, "Thanks for calling United Airlines. Am I speaking with Brian..."
But now sometimes it answers, "Thank you for calling United. What would you like..."
What's weird is that if it does the second one, I can usually hang up immediately and call right back and get right in as me. It's funny because I noticed that they say "United Airlines" when it works and just "United" when it doesn't, so I can be quick on the trigger to redial.
I'm not even complaining really.. just curious whether anyone else is experiencing this too?
