Many of us old NWers have a huge fondness for these old birds - (or whales, as a pilot described one to me)! I couldn't possibly tell you how many miles I have racked up over the years on the B742s and B744s to, and within Asia, and to AMS to connect to points onward in Europe! So watch what you say about one of the few remnants of NW that are still intact! We take it very personally

That said, yes, they are aging <slightly >, and are in the process of being updated. Having AVOD was never a huge priority to me. I just LUV the feel of the huge old planes!
