I'm starting to do the sums. There's 3 in my family and our annual holiday is usually 3 x CW, using a 241, so typically 200K miles plus the taxes and fees.

It's getting to the point where paying for 3 x WT+ and 3 x MFU (75K miles) plus taxes and fees might be a better option. Its a fairly simple calculation - is the 125K difference miles worth more to me than the 3 x WT+ base fare.

If it is, then without the need for the 241 voucher, I'd also look into whether the extra miles from the Amex PP is worth the £150 annual fee; it might be better for me to downgrade to the basic card and I'd probably still manage to get the 1-year 241 with the £20K spend threshold (I reached £10K on 1 Feb last year due to some expensive flights for work).
