My experience is a bit 'hit and miss' re. finding the AA record locator via checkmytrip.com, sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. If you can't find via this route then give BA a call. The last time I did this (a few days ago) they couldn't find the AA record locator either and had to put me on hold while they called AA.
