Partly to due my delay, the Marceau locations sold out for my dates while I opted to stay more central than Montmarte so shose a small one bedroom through clickappart on Rue du Gros Caillou as it seemed to be on a very quiet sidestreet, had a separate bedroom and was not in a touristy area but with good dining and attraction options very close by including 150m to Rue Cler and Eiffel Tower.

The pricing around EUR 100 was a little under what some 2-star central hotels wanted and I liked the clickappart terms & conditions and options for easy payment not to mention the numerous questions answered promptly via email.

I hope all goes well and I enjoy the neighborhood. Thansk again to those who helped with input.
We've just (yesterday) completed a 7 night stay in an apartment on Rue De Grenelle about 30m from Rue Cler & couldn't be happier.

The location is fabulous, great dinning choices, walk to just about everything & as you say not very touristy.....

We really enjoyed the area & I'm sure you will too
