I realised booking a stay in late December there would be a trade off: cooler weather in exchange for not have to fight hoards of cruise landers for restaurant covers, insufferably long lines in cafes etc. The trip was uninterrupted bliss. The hotel staff certainly contributed to my general contentment.

I cannot thank you enough for this snippet of info. Like yourself, I have substituted my laptop for the convenience of an iPad. The long neglected laptop preformed beautifully thanks to the robust wired internet service.

Not much on offer at the airport foodwise, so I'd recommend tucking in before checking out of the hotel
