Fare earns 35,000 - 38,000 EK miles per person, which isn't good for much - a one-way in Economy London to Dubai, for eg. A one-way to DXB in J would be 62,500 (Flex, so good any day) so you'd need to buy - or transfer from a hotel scheme - the balance. Minimal taxes on EK rewards, though, as no fuel surcharge.
