I like them both but as I said above, in a direct comparison I think the 4P has a lot going for it even without Plat (though I take the point about free internet made upthread). They were both 2500 when I booked.
I just prefer the look and feel of Aloft's rooms since it's like a mini-W. the breakfast at 4P is nothing fantastic.
Of course, to each his own.
