This is a Small Claims Court job. You are wasting your time contacting PC, except that the Court would have expected you to try them. You will get some (see below) money back with no problem and it is a very simple process.

Don't waste the court's time. Next time be better prepared. I think the absolute best he should be offered is some hotel credit, because they messed up a service. But to expect they pay for his missed flight and other hotel is inane.
