We've pretty much already been informed that Elite Maximizer miles will not count towards Lifetime miles in the 2012 program. It was not explicitly stated however they have stated it will be BIS miles which Elite Maximizer miles are not.

With that said we do not know if the Lifetime mile recalculation was triggered. We know the UA guys received the bump of EQM's not previously counted however we have not seen evidence of Lifetime miles from both programs combined. This combination very well may have been completed in the backend but they have been slow to display the updates. Your real Lifetime mileage may not be accurately reflected on your account. However they may not have completed this combination and Elite Maximizer miles as well as non BIS EQM's may very well continue to count.

My guess is the combination was done in the back end and the backend system will track our BIS miles moving forward.
