Itinerary B all the way. If you are worried about pickpocketing on the RER B, you reduce the risk by only riding it one way. To further substantially reduce the risk, make sure you take the express train from CDG, not the one that stops at every local station. If that means you have to wait another 10 mins at CDG for the next RER, so be it.
