No, there was no email or letter. I got denied online (BTW I applied based on the offer in the mail). I only came to know when I called in the credit department and then they told me the reason. Haven't got anything in writing from them.
Thanks to everyone who replied^. Its good to know that I am not alone who is been asked for the residency proof. But how I do resolve this situation? Write a letter to their management asking to reconsider or something else? I don't know what that something else could be, I am expecting the experts on FT to guide me navigate this thing, please....I don't want the credit check they did on my file to go to waste especially when I have good credit history....
