I'm a V-Power member and thought that I didn't buy 150 litres of V-Power per quarter, but looking back I clearly do. It is afterall just an average tankful every month. The rest of the time I use regular unleaded, but for me Shell is competitively priced to other retailers, plus there is no Tesco fuel nearby.

Irrespective of V-Power membership there has always been a significant delay (well, for me at least) between the end of the earning quarter and the posting of miles to my BAEC. The miles that I earned in the quarter that ended 30th September only posted to my BAEC account on the 25th November, but it's always been like this since I joined years ago.

It's worth pointing out that Shell are always doing promotions, so for example during January if I fill up 4 times with a minimum of 30 litres then I get 200 bonus points (100 Avios). I'd be buying that fuel anyway, so I'm not really doing anything different to get it. They've also recently tied up with Waitrose so I'm seeing a few £15 off a shop over £75 type vouchers.
