Go for the Nines. Best lounge in SPG in the USA, even though beer is served only in a bottle. Amazing beds. Departure on the roof is incredible, and the lobby bar/restaurant is great, too. Bloody Mary bar. Enough said. It's different than any other place high end urban hotel in the US.
But you're better for suites with the Westin. Never been upgraded at the Nines but once at the Westin.
