I don't travel overseas much, but I am travelling on UAL 869 SFO_HKG on 1/4, and have been monitoring seating pretty regularly. (ok daily ). Anyway, Y has been sold out for at least two weeks.

Today, however, 4 full rows opened up in Y. ?!?!?

How in the world did that happen?
