One can argue that the worst cases for elites are market where many split their travel 50-50 between CO and UA. Hubs won't see much difference, nor will smaller markets where one of UA or CO is dominant, but the bad places could be spots where adding the miles bumps many up to much higher elite levels but some are left behind at their previous level which had been decent for upgrades.
