Quite correct, and the plane left YYT 50 min late without catering (sigh). But my original question was enquiring if anybody knew what specific sensor was faulty - eg engine systems, avionics etc.

And sadly, the communications chain broke down between cancelling the aircraft and advising people what to do after collecting baggage - specifically where to go and what to do ( advising on availability of hotel vouchers, rebooking, how to get to hotel etc).
