Currently at the Le Meridien Stuttgart. "Upgraded" to an executive room which is exactly the same as every other room except on "higher floor" of a five floor hotel. Maybe the 500 mls bottle of water is the other difference

Junior Suites available for booking during the length of my stay, but like a good little boy I'll take what I'm given. The executive lounge officially closes tomorrow.

Room itself is fine, smallish but in good condition and quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful. Internet is painfully slow - which is a trend with German Le Meridiens.

On a points and cash stay so can't complain abut value for money - but I think the going rate at this hotel reflects lack of competition rather than the standard of the hotel.
