how is that "the norm"? Calls made to the elite line on CO (using the number printed on your card - not one you found on the Internet somewhere - and entering your FF# using the phone keypad instead of the voice recognition to eliminate any risk of background noise) are answered in <5min any of the hundreds of times I've called in the last decade. Usually in <1min. Not once have I experienced the "norm" you describe above. Are you particularly unlucky?
