I applied on Dec 30th and was surprised to see the Cards showing in my Lloyds online banking screen 24 hours later (I pay all my cards in full by DD, but have had a Lloyds Bank account for 13 years).

Now: to try to convince my decorators to let me pay for my renovation by Amex

Stupid question: I have a UK based BA Executive Club account but no "old" airmiles account: will Lloyds be smart enough to just dump the points in my "BA" account or do I need to open a non-BA avois account too?
