FWIW, while both may perhaps be less than "purrfect", or even somewhat ill-advised, I've got no problem with the posts by CATMAN or pitflyer. Yet that may only be because I am far less than perfect myself!

Aren't we perhaps missing apples and oranges here? FWIW, I know CATMAN for nearly three years now, and also know OZ for about two years. I've
never had a problem with
either of 'em - nor they with me, that I'm aware. While I consider them to both be good friends, they do not seem to share the same enthusiasm for each other that I do for both of them! Perhaps, while I'm not holding my breath, in time this seeming conflict will abate if not disappear!
Also, I too have received unsolicited hate mail, calling me far worse than a "sourpuss", from among the FT "community!"
A bit more lightheartedness, as well as taking about travel, would go a long way here, IMHO!
