Full day to enjoy SYD on the Saturday, doing some sight-seeting and enjoying dinner at our fave - Wolfies Grill - plus a room on the Club floor at the Shangri-La. And then Sunday morning for some shopping around the City before making our way back to the airport after lunch.

In a world where time is so precious, and Avios points so plentiful, we reckoned on 48 hours in the NF cabin as being very relaxing, a chance to catch up on some sleep, eat some (pretty) good food and unwind with some movies and some time without being interupted by phonecalls, emails and work in general.

One day we'll do it. ^ Would make a good TR...
I've been from NZ to Europe leaving NZ on Friday evening and arriving back in NZ early on Monday morning. Trip report around the world in under 60 hours. A few other FTers took the same fare deal to do the same trip.

I've also flown several times AKL-SIN-LHR return leaving on Friday night (midnight-ish departure) and arriving back at AKL around midday on Monday.
