Hi, I hope I'm asking this question in the right section. I'm new here and still trying to find my way around.

I'm planning a trip to London in July 2012. Fares are still pretty high, but I was able to find something on UA/CO for $200 cheaper if I fly out of Erie PA instead of CLE. Now, on the return flight I go from LHR to EWR, EWR to CLE, then Erie to CLE. Well, CLE is much closer to my house. So the big question is, can I get my bag checked just to Cleveland when I'm leaving LHR? There is a plane change in CLE, so this would be much easier. Thanks in advance for your help!
