ABU DHABI to MUSCAT (AUH-MCT) on British Airways 777-200 in business
Through passengers have to remain onboard during the approximately 1 hour transit in Abu Dhabi. Most passengers disembarked and the few remaining passengers were asked to identify their bags in the overhead bins. I took the chance to stretch out.
The same cabin crew continue through to Muscat. 3 passengers joined us. That is 3 in total, not 3 in business class. The cabin service director decided to give the 3 new passengers a personal manual safety demonstration to skip doing it for the through passengers.
With a very light load and only a short flight our take-off roll was very short and the initial ascent was very steep. The flight time tonight was under 40 minutes so service was minimal - drinks & canapes. No menu.
We arrived early, but late in 2011.
