NO AIT at the far west checkpoint at AUS....the one that 'serves' gates 15+, but if you're willing to walk back to the lower numbered gates after you clear security, you are good to go without the NOS. The MMW at the other 2 checkpoints at AUS did not appear to be used as primary this morning, but I didn't sit there and study patterns of use. Looked like most pax were going through the WTMD.
Sad to say that as of 2 weeks ago, the far west security checkpoint has a MMW. In fact, as of 12/26/11, the west security check point lanes had been altered so all lanes could funnel through the MMW.
