The reason for my question is this - I am running a half marathon and then going to the airport to return to Darwin. All my family and friends live north of the city - which means that I won't have time to duck up there before heading back to the airport.
I think that my best bet would be to see if I can find someone to guest me in to the QC or buying a QC invitation from ebay.
However, I have one more question if I may. If I were to get the train direct to the international terminal, quickly use the showers there and then present at the QF domestic transfer desk for my flight to DRW, will they ask to see an inbound boarding card and passport?
Many thanks,

Things may have changed, but in the past, my experience is that all that is needed is a flight departing from the domestic terminal and not been asked for any evidence of an inbound international flight
