Just witnessed pretty incredible scene.. Older couple travelling First Class to SYD on QF were refused entrance to CCR at JFk where I am sitting now.. Absolute uproar when gentleman refused to leave... He was escorted to Terraces Lounge, but the spouse was screaming that " I will not tolerate this" ..." we are first class passengers"
The folks at the CCR were adamant about no admission, but this tirade was not the right way to usher in the New Year.. I could not believe the scene made.. I have flown quite a bit.. I was embarrassed for the poor CCR rep who had to escort these folks to the correct lounge
