My wife and I are booked on a YYZ-HKG-YYZ return using BA miles. When I check my booking through the BA Executive Club website it says seat selection will be available at check-in. Is there any way around this? Any way to select seats in advance? Thanks!

I should add this is a Y booking and I have status on neither BA nor CX.
