I've managed, back in June, 6 people in CW LHR-LAX for this Christmas, using BA miles and 2 2-4-1s, returning from SFO a few days into 2012.

Unbelievable!
I later had to cancel the booking around September, and the seats (none of them) didn't go back into U inventory.
