As stated by many of you I don't agree or disagree with the policy. I am not an expert on whether or not this causes problems.

I do however comply with the rules myself as a courtesy to the crew and other pax. Every flight there are one or two idiots who feel like the rules don't apply to them. I have seen crew members who have almost stopped the plane due to non compliance. I cannot imagine missing a connection, being delayed, returning to the gate because 1 idiot wouldn't comply..

I tip my hat to the crew member who finally took a stand. I cant imagine having to go through that 4 or 5 times a day.. I would loose my mind
