XQ Deployment -- December

For the 30 calendar days from 1 through 30 December, here are the percentages of outbound trips on various routes performed by 77Qs.

The number of 77Q flights is first; the total over 30 days is second (numbers less than 30 account for Xmas service suspensions and some cancellations).

IAD -- DXB: 26/30 (86.7%)
IAD -- NRT: 21/28 (75.0%)
SFO -- PVG: 21/28 (75.0%)
LAX -- LHR: 21/28 (75.0%)
IAD -- PEK: 20/29 (69.0%)
LAX -- PVG: 18/27 (66.7%)
IAD -- KWI: 20/30 (66.7%)
ORD -- PEK: 17/27 (63.0%)
SFO -- KIX: 17/28 (60.7%)
ORD -- GRU: 16/28 (57.1%)
IAD -- LHR (918): 16/28 (57.1%)
HNL -- NRT: 16/29 (55.2%)
ORD -- PVG: 14/26 (53.8%)
SEA -- NRT: 14/28 (50.0%)
LAX -- NRT: 15/30 (50.0%)
IAD -- GRU: 13/28 (46.4%)

Keep in mind that several routes do not operate with 777 equipment in winter: this year, those routes include SFO -- LHR, SFO -- FRA, and SFO -- NRT.

Also, this winter many more of the intra-Asian tags are being performed with 77Qs. NRT -- BKK v v for example was about 60% new config for December. There are more domestic segments in the script as well -- especially IAD -- ORD v v and IAD -- LAX or IAD -- SFO v v.

Besides the main 77Q routes, there were a few strays on routes normally served with 77Cs or 77Ds:

IAD -- LHR (924): 5
ORD -- FRA: 3
IAD -- FRA: 2
ORD -- MUC: 2
IAD -- MUC: 1
IAD -- BRU: 1

As with the October list, this one does not include the 77Ds. N227UA was out of service for paint until 9 December; N794UA was in shop for maintenance for two weeks during the period; and N219UA only emerged from shop on 26 December, so these numbers were produced by about 19 equivalent aircraft.
