Hmm, I'd say the C300 had more headroom, but both were comparable in terms of legroom.
I liked the 6-speed auto, no big complaints.
I prefer luxury equally to performance/handling; performance/handling alone is insufficient to trump luxury. For a car that costs $40K, it better have a luxurious interior. I think BMW has finally recognized that, as the 6th generation, 2012 3-series has a much improved interior.
