While I don't believe in some of the ridiculous rules being enforced, I have to say that compliance, especially after several warnings, should still be practiced.
Honestly, the turning off of all electronic items, including noise cancelling headsets and even digital cameras, seem completely pointless, but arguing it will just lead to a losing battle... as this pax has seen. I really don't know how the FA's can say with a straight face to turn off electronic gadgets when the video display monitors themselves are showing the safety video. Yes, I'm sure there's some shielding, but I'd love to know if a noise cancelling headsets emit any comparable EMI's compared to the overhead monitors/AVOD systems.
