not just include convictions but also other information held by the Police and other agencies.
And in England and Wales it's quite similar. Standard Disclosure involves a check of formal records (including cautions and reprimands). Enhanced Disclosure includes a review of all police information, including indirectly related issues and items that did not get to a potential prosecution. Many BA staff hold Enhanced Disclosure, and at a guess, so would Ikea staff supervising children. Not that it is a foolproof system.
