Cheapest way to go LON-SYD using Reward Saver?
Now that there are decent Avios+taxes prices from UK destinations, I was curious if anyone has explored the idea of doing the following:

LON - somewhere in Avios Zone 3
Avios Zone 3 - SYD (or another far flung place)

Two reasons I want to do this are that a) I am a cheapskate looking for a bargain and b) I want to avoid UK APD/taxes as much as possible. Happy enough to travel in Y as it would be on my own dime. I'm just curious how far I can travel for a summer break on as little money as possible. Ideas welcome.
