Just thinking of making a trip to one of the less obvious bmi destinations before "the end", either to use up the last of my miles or my eGUVs. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Swanhunter was't impressed by Addis Ababa, and Freetown doesn't seem sensible (unless GoldCircle can tell me otherwise).

One crew member strongly recommended Bishkek rather than Almaty, which he said was too boring to be worth the high hotel prices.

I've done Tbilisi and thought it was fantastic; was somewhat underwhelmed by Beirut.

Any thoughts on the likelihood of Tripoli coming back in Feb as planned?

Otherwise it will be Marrakech which seems positively mundane by comparison
