But if the same thing had happened in a restaurant they would have tried to be nice and got me a bette table or something (which is discretionary and does not cost money). An airline equivalent would be being flexible about the connecting flight.

Now the food thing is very weird. I have a very very uncommon name and they brought the food by my name and seat number. If I google my name I can find maybe 3 guys with the same name and none of them were even in Europe that day : I was already 20 hours into a 36 hours flight ( 2 segments) so probably not tracking well and I guess I should have sent it back but the name thing threw me off so I just ate it. It was pretty good actually.

Also given what other guys are saying Lufthansa probably handled it well. But anyway that still does not excuse Lufthansa for being partners with such a shithole of an airline as United. The sad thing about American airlines going bankrupt is they still keep flying. I wish these ...... airlines would just go out of business so we can enjoy flying on Asian or Middle Eastern Airlines who understand customer service. Would you believe on an International flight UA did not have seat back tis just a central TV. What is this 1970?
