I wouldnt like to be on a ferry at the moment anyway. On one trip to the IOM, we always took a cabin, I went downstairs. It wasnt a pretty site. I managed to rock myself back upstairs.
You can remove the APD. But I presonally wouldnt. But there will be some on here that do fly to euro land, then fly to their location.
I am sure someone would fly there, you might need to fly to Germany and then to the US. But I cant be bothered to look it up.
Ferries are horrible. I get very seasick on ferries when I see others vomiting
I love taking a speedboat across to France with some family friends who have a boat, it isn't too choppy when we go and I find that the fresh air helps- being stuck inside a ferry that to me already smells sets my seasickness off
When going to the UK from Jersey, if you don't have to take a car or a ton of stuff and unless the price difference is very substantial, just get a 40 minute flight! Much easier, JER is a very good airport
