Getting UA credit card when I have CO card
Folks,

Sometime in the future, will the Continental "OnePass Plus" card be rebranded or merged into some United card?

I got an "OnePass Plus" in August. Sometime in the next few months, I would like to get a MileagePlus Explorer Card to get the 50,000 points.

Given the merger progress, is there a risk that United / Chase might figure out that I already have an "OnePass Plus" card and not give me the card or the points?
