Will be visiting the extended family at the beginning of jan and trying to do a LHR-PHL for over 5k miles to requalify with the DEQM. I can see I can see that a LHR-ORD-PHL-ORD-LHR will net 4.5k and is priced the same as the BA direct flight. However going through ORD is till 500miles short. So the question for you gurus is whether I can sandwich in another sector for the same price or little more. I tried adding ATL or MIA along the way but the price jumped.
