Sitting in the lounge in CPH - I did talk to UA the only option other than flying through SFO was to re-route to FRA-IAD, which I declined as it would only get me to SAN about 45 mins prior to the rebooked flight. IAD in the winter time is not a place to be, and I prefer sitting a bit longer in the INTL biz class seat instead of domestic first.

I am flying on a Z fare - not sure if I have a lot of options, I will talk to UA in Frankfurt when I get there, they might have some options.

The only half good thing is I still get home on the scheduled date and my last flight for the year will not be on a CRJ200 (keeping my fingers crossed).

After checking Flightaware for all SFO-SAN flights on the 29th, it seems that only one flight is cancelled.
