Uh, not in my experience on at least two occasions. If you check in on 12/31/11 and check out on 1/1/12 you will get 1 stay and 1 night in 2012.

AndyTLe: Since you need this stay to qualify or requalify for diamond, I would call and try to get something definitive from HH rather than rely on us. Make note of the name of the person you contact with HH.
