I'm extremely nervous about posting on this topic as it's so often dangerous to get in the middle of a hot topic like this, but I'll try to see if I can do some good.

Punki, I am not a fan of moving all of these posts out of MilesBuzz!, and I have posted previously (not much, but some) disagreement with the practice.

However, it's clear that this is the way things are going to be. The choice I have now is whether or not to tilt at windmills or say that the decision is made and see what I can do to make FlyerTalk as good as possible in the context of this being inevitable.

If it succeeds, then hopefully I'll have the satisfaction of helping make a difficult situation work, and if it fails, I'll have the supreme satisfaction of saying "I told you so," and additioanlly, I'll have some suggestions on new approaches.

But the fact the remains, that this approach is absolutely, positively going to be tried out, and for a sizable period of time, so is there any way that you can help as an important longstanding member and role model to make the trial be fair and given a good shot to succeed?

Thanks for at least consdering it.
