Does anyone have any experience with either or both cards?
I'm curious as well. Has been a member of AAP member for around the same no. of years. AAP benefits has always been Asia-Pacific wide only with a unique (in comparison with other Accor cards) dining benefits feature. I find it useful as my travels tend to be within AP, with the occasional dining with another person in the hotels' restaurant, I often enjoy (not all Accor properties participate in this scheme) half price of the a la carte food which is really good value for money. And of course a night's free certificate in my case.

Whereas FGB card is good worldwide with better point accrual and theoretically a better discount at Sofitels (15% off) though AAP members often have various promotions going on.
