Actually, you're right. Now that I think of it, at least the last month I caught two rides on 767s - NOT 777s.

Nonetheless, the wide bodies are still running between IAH-EWR (although I'm not sure how frequently), which should still give excellent upgrade chances for the OP. Checked my flight scheduled for for Jan 5 and it's on a 764 (Typical config with 35 BF seats).
